The Nurture Division is dedicated to fostering a caring and connected church family. Through intentional acts of encouragement, fellowship, and support, this team helps ensure that every member feels seen, valued, and cared for—no matter their season of life.
This includes visitation to hospitals, senior living centers, and homebound members, as well as ongoing care through calls, messages, prayer support, and encouragement. The division also helps coordinate church-wide fellowship opportunities such as weekly guest lunches, monthly church gatherings, and special events that bring people together in meaningful ways.
From celebrating life’s milestones like weddings and new babies to providing support during times of need, the Nurture Division reflects the heart of Christ through compassion, connection, and community.

The Worship Division exists to lead people into the presence of God through meaningful, Christ-centered worship experiences. Every service is designed to glorify God and create an environment where individuals and families can encounter Him together.
This work is carried out through four collaborative teams: Music, Coordination, Audio/Visual, and Preaching. Each team plays a vital role in creating a cohesive and engaging worship experience—from leading music and organizing the flow of service to ensuring clear sound and visuals to delivering biblically grounded messages.
Together, these teams serve with one purpose: to help our church family experience God in a real and transformative way.
The Education Division is committed to nurturing spiritual growth at every stage of life through engaging, Christ-centered learning environments.
This includes overseeing all Sabbath School classes, ensuring that each age group has meaningful, well-structured opportunities to grow in faith, understanding, and community. The division also leads our Pathfinder and Adventurer programs, where children and youth develop life skills, build character, and deepen their relationship with Jesus through hands-on learning, service, and fellowship.
In addition, the Education Division supports Summit Christian Academy by contributing to leadership and decision-making that helps maintain a strong, Christ-centered educational environment.

The Outreach Division exists to help our church live out the love of Christ both within our congregation and throughout the community. We believe that effective outreach begins with a healthy, growing church—one that is rooted in Christ and ready to serve.
This division includes community outreach initiatives, men’s and women’s ministries, greeters and literature teams, prayer ministry, life groups, and media outreach through Christian Life Broadcasting. Each area works together to build meaningful connections, meet practical needs, and create opportunities to share hope in relevant and compassionate ways.
Through both in-reach and outreach, the goal is to equip every member to live on mission—serving as Christ’s hands and feet in everyday life.

Pastor
We'd Love to Meet You
Whether it's your first time or you're looking for a new church home, we can't wait to welcome you. Here's everything you need to know.
Pastor Melody Darrow joined us as our Senior Pastor at Wasatch Hill’s in February 2025. She loves God, people, and the ocean. You will find her residing at the Pastor Palace in Stansbury Park Utah with Miss Kitty her mean rescue cat and her nephew Jack, ie ‘Lambo’ when he is not galivanting the globe snapping photos.
She enjoys reading, painting ugly furniture and home improvement projects, traveling with a good hotel, and all things glam.
Pastor Melody was raised in Oregon where she attended Milo Adventist Academy. Upon graduation she went on to complete her Bachelors in Communication and Business. After spending several years working in business, she felt called into Pastoral ministry. Pastor Melody completed her Masters of Divinity from Andrew’s Theological Seminary and then went on to acquire a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling.
Pastor Darrow was honored to be Ordained to Pastoral Ministry in 2019 by the late Dan Jackson. Before arriving in Utah, she spent the last 11 years serving in the Las Vegas area as an Associate Pastor, Church Planter, and Ministerial Area Coordinator.
She served as Nevada-Utah Conference (NUC) Women’s ministries director for 5 years, and currently sits on the NUC Executive Committee representing the Utah area.
Her focus in ministry is encouraging everyone to do ‘God time’, empowering others to serve, singing loudly from the front pew, and practicing the ministry of presence. She is honored by the opportunity to serve in the Salt Lake City area and looks forward to greeting you! Please come say hi!
“But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.“
1 Corinthians 13:13
